On December 25th, 2021, "There is an Art Museum in the Community - 2021 "Ganluyuan Project" Community Renewal and Art Practice Forum" was held at Wind H Art Center. Co-chaired by Mingxian Wang, Director of Wind H Art Center, Qiuye Jin, Professor of Beijing Architecture University, and Han Li, moderator of Drawing Architecture Studio, the forum brought together renowned urban scholars, spatial art, and community building practitioners in China, including Zhe He (co-founder of Peoples Architecture and the hosting architect), Zhisen He (architect and director of FEI Art Museum), Jing Jin (co-founder and vice president of Dayu Community), Ming Tong (co-founder of Shanghai Ziyizai Art Center), and Tong Ming (vice president of Shanghai Ziyizai Art Center) Tong Ming (presiding architect of TM Studio in Shanghai, professor at the School of Architecture of Southeast University), Jing Zoo (curator, associate professor at Anhui University), Shen Zhuang (presiding architect of Archmixing Architecture and Design Studio, professor at the School of Design of Shanghai Jiaotong University). Through their respective work in the fields of architectural design, art exhibitions and community practice, they focused on the multiple possibilities of urban renewal, the relationship between communities and art museums, and the potential of new community building, contributing their experiences and imaginations to provide different cases and possibilities for community building combined with art practice.
